Badoo soon in the UK [kwiqq]

If you are in mainland Europe between the age of 17-40 years its likely that you have heard of Badoo.com .

Badoo is an online dating community popular in Latin America, Spain, France, Italy etc. Whats so special about it is its interface. Very clever use of Flash and Ajax to give users a very delightful experience. It look and feels so different from Facebook, Myspace etc. No wonder it has around 12.5 million users and is the fastest growing search term on Google in 2007 after Facebook.

Another key feature is that you can increase your popularity by paying $1, €1 and £1 to increase your visibility.

I’m very excited about its launch in the UK. I reckon it can really make its mark given that its a fresh approach to social networking.

    Thanks for the correction Natasha. Its just that my friends who actually use Badoo regularly, use it for dating.

    Is it worth you guys conducting some research as to what your members use your website for ?

    P.S.: I think Badoo is a fantastic site, congratulations on standing out from the rest (Facebook, myspace etc). I like your chat/message feature.
