LinkedIn new group features [kwiqq]

Last night LinkedIn launched its new community features. Definitely better than its earlier buggy group features. In the latest release users can start a discussion. I started one today:

One of the reasons why I enjoy LinkedIn is because its signal to noise ratio is high. Would the new groups feature change that ?
