Next2Friends = Qik + Digg

Today I came across Next2Friends through LinkedIn. It seems like Qik: Mobile Video stream meets Digg + Proximity tagging using Bluetooth (very clever).

I came across Next2Friends earlier this year and tracked their progress which has been impressive. I feel there is a fair fight going on at the moment between QIK, Flixwagon and Next2Friends, however I suspect the growth of Next2Friends is due to the wider offering of mobile solutions.

QIK appear to be losing ground with some high profile early adopters now deserting them.

I think they all need to look out for Kyte TV who have deeper pockets.

Kyte TV is certainly nice ! What makes it even more special is that it works on the iPhone
