Kyte iPhone app doesn’t stream videos :(

For some bizarre reason I was under the impression that you could stream live video using the Kyte‘s iPhone application. Obviously I was wrong ! I was so excited and already thinking of scenarios of stuff I could stream.

Although it doesn’t stream you can send pictures and polls. Actually thinking about it, I can still do some really exciting stuff with it. Watch this space !

Hi Rajanand,
Thank you for posting about Kyte Mobile Producer for the iPhone.
I want to highlight that we would love to offer a video-streaming app for the iPhone. However, as you might know, Apple does not yet allow video recording for the iPhone. Of course, we do not want to break Apple’s terms of conditions.
Stay tuned and maybe, you can get a chance to play around with our S60 app for mobile phones.

PS: You could also do webcam shows or video uploads from a pc to your Kyte player.

Already using the webcam to stream videos, its a lot of fun !
