Interesting and impressive case study. I’ve linked to it from our blog.

You might want to update your case study to show what happened after your initial increase. Because Play N Trade failed to allocate needed resources to keeping up with their forum, it got overrun with Spam and negative comments. See http://www.unhappyfranchisee.com/play-n-trade-forum-gets-spammed-n-slammed/

This further fueled the unrest from their unhappy franchisees: http://www.unhappyfranchisee.com/play-n-trade-ca-revokes-pnt-franchise-registration/

This is not a negative reflection on Kwiqq, as the strategy was sound. It just illustrates the point that using social media requires a committed and consistent effort or it can backfire.

    Good post. Thanks for listening.

Thanks for the kind words on the case study.

Given that the question is directed at Play N Trade and not related to our strategy, I think we should wait till we hear from PNT. I’m confident that in conjunction a reasonable strategy to respond to comments can be achieved. Listening to customers is certainly something we strongly advocate at Kwiqq.

Ok it seems the problem has now been resolved. As I mentioned earlier, things can be resolved and I’m glad it was addressed remarkably quickly.
