Revolution magazine released it’s list of 50 most influential people in Digital. In their own words:
The Revolution Future 50 sets out to do the impossible: to name the individuals who will shape the digital industry of tomorrow. This time last year few people had heard to Twitter founder Biz Stone, or Daniel Ek, the brains behind Spotify, but now they are among the most influential people in media. With this in mind, we’ve compiled a comprehensive list of promising marketers, entrepreneurs, authors and thinkers poised to transform the digital ecosystem. To help, we asked 50 power players to single out one individual with the most potential to drive innovation in the UK market. There was no age limit and no geographical restrictions. The result is a rare glimpse into the future of the digital industry.
The results are out and I’m happy to reveal that I’m (@rajanand) one of the 50 members to be honoured with this title. The list includes co-founder of Twitter, Spotify, Tweetdeck and MDs/CEOs of companies like Guardian News/Media and Lovefilm.
Big thanks to Arjo Ghosh (@arjo_ghosh) from iCrossing for the selection. In his words:
Kwiqq is a specialist agency developing online communities for brands, and Raj is a real entrepreneur – engaged, interested and energetic. He started Kwiqq when he was 23 and has a degree in Artificial Intelligence. Social media is one of the defining issues in marketing, and the industry needs people who understand what it’s all about. It’s not just building a site or a profile, it’s about understanding networks and conversations online, and that’s something Raj and Kwiqq are on top of.
